I get it, life is scary, things happen and we don't always have the immediate answer, or things don't go how we thought they were. We get scarred and burned, and we sometimes brace ourselves for the worse rather than hope for the best. I wish I could tell you that everything would be perfect and be the best ever. But reality is we all have our struggles from time to time, we all have our peaks and our valleys, but the thing is even though life is scary and can have it's low moments, there are times life can be wonderful and dreams can come true.
The thing is, I love you, and while I can't stop you from crying in life, I can be the one who is there to wipe away your tears and give you the shoulder you need. I can't say you'll never be sad, but I can be the one who can cause you to smile again. I can't say we won't ever fail, but I can say I will be the one who won't let you give up. The thing that separates me from all the other guys is I actually mean what I say and follow through in putting you first, maybe I'm old school, but I was always taught its the guy's responsibility to be able to provide for his love, to support her, and stand with her, not to control her.
