Love, real love, comes at a cost, comes with a risk, the thing is that with real love it's worth the cost and risk no matter how steep. When you love someone, you should be willing to risk it all, risk your friendship with them, risk your trust, risk your heart, even risk your life. If your love is real, it won't matter what you risk, because in the end what you gain is invaluable.
Love isn't about what you get out of someone, its about what you can give and how you can help the one you love become as great as possible in life, its about helping the one you love reach their pinnacle of their dreams. Its about helping them become even greater than yourself. Believe me, if its real love, they'll do the same for you, and it always balances out.
