Cracking the Code

There is an art on knowing just how much of yourself you're willing to give and what parts of you that you need people to earn or open up.  I'm very good this, when in comes to love I will give help, my time, my heart, my mind, my money, my dreams, my happiness freely.  However, physical love is something I keep locked up, and believe me its not that I don't want it because I do, its I tend be the type who likes to be the prey persay in the area. 

I guess I kind of feel if I'm giving so much freely that I want the one I love to be aggressive in pursuing more such as the physical stuff.  Surprise me, be a predator to me and believe I will not only surprise you, but you'll never forget me.  Its also my way of self respect, I'm going to just give myself to anyone, I'm simply not cheap.

Sometimes the best thing to get to me is to just take me, simple but true.  I will always take care of you because I love you, but I can give you so much more than you ever realize if you just took it from me.  I promise the world is your oyster, and I don't make promises lightly.  Ironically, this might be the only part of life I'm willing to be the prey, but anytime else believe me I'm the predator, just a smart one.

Lost Over Time

Nobody has all the right answers in life or love, and if anyone says otherwise they're lying or playing you for a fool.  All I can share is what I've learned through life experiences from eyes or those close to me.  There a many things people think are needed to make love work, when in reality they aren't, in the end there is really one thing in love that makes love everlasting and real, and thats a person's heart.

Good sex life isn't love, reality is you can have sex with anyone good or bad, and thats just the truth of it.  But good sex doesn't provide for you or keep your bills paid or keep a roof over your head.  Money isn't love, while money pays the bills, it also makes the supposed love bought and in reality worthless, you can be poor and truly still be in love. Good looks doesn't equal love, once again can't pay bills on looks.  Hustling or conning people isn't love, trust me anyone who takes this path God will make sure things catch up to you, might 20 years from now, but when it does heaven help you.

I'm not saying none of those above aren't nice, they just aren't real love.  Many people have to find these things out the hard way, and its tough to watch someone you love slowly learn that lesson in life, but sometimes you just have to let things play out as God intends them too.

Real love is in a loving heart, a giving heart, a building heart, a forgiving heart, and providing heart.  Its not only wanting to help someone, but help them help themselves to grow into greatness.  Its being able to put your desires to the side, so you can build each other up and not just yourself.  Its being able to put food on the table, roof over their heads, and not because you want sex in return, but because you actually love them enough that it simply matters the world to you.  Love is being able to forgive someone who hurts you constantly because you love them and know they aren't perfect.  And when I love, thats how I love.  Love is loyal, love is kind, love is real, love is always trying to build you up.

I'm not muscle bound, I'm not rich, I'm not tall, I'm not a lot of things.  But I am real, honest, loyal, kind, forgiving, successful.  I'm extremely resourceful, I make the most out of what God blesses me with, and I try to make those around me better, not for my gain but for theirs.  I never give up, God doesn't like quitters, and anything worth it is worth fighting for until it happens or I die trying, because if you give up than you never really wanted it.  Thats how you tell when someone truly loves you, when you've given them every reasons to walk away, and yet they choose not too, instead they choose to help you and stand by you despite the pain, thats love.  Society has lost sight of the values of real love, hence the increased divorces and shorter marriages, you shouldn't get married because of sex, or accidental baby, marriage is meant for love.  Sometimes you have have to stop letting personal and physical desires get in the way of the love you know you truly need, its funny how once you do that how everything else will seem to work out.

Just wanted to share my thoughts on the subject is all.  Sometimes all one can do and simply step back and let God play things out.  And pray.

Unexplainable

Love... love is something that can't be explained. love is something that happens whether we realize it or not, real love is something you can't describe yet you know it when you find it.  You see, I've had girlfriends off and on my life, but never would I say I was in love, that is until a few years ago.  And thats why this has been so hard on me missing you, because what you don't get is I didn't just love you, I LOVED you.

I've know it for a while, it feels different with you, it feels right and real.  And I can't explain it, but I felt you were the one, and truthfully I still do.  Your the one I can't let go, you're the one who completes me, you're the only one I'm willing to give myself to without a second thought.  Your the one I want to share dreams and life with.  Yeah, I could walk away and let go and find someone else, but what you fail to realize I love you in a way that my heart will always be with you.  So yeah it hurts beyond words right now.  I know I will be a success in life regardless, but reality is I simply wanted to be enough for you. As cheesy as that sounds, you were my world, so being with you and happy, mad my world perfect because you were my world.

Ask yourself, have you ever seen me give myself to anyone else as I have to you, the answer is no.  And its simple with you, I LOVE you.  I can be me with you, and you can be you with me, the thing is I love when you drop your walls and be yourself with me.  I truly love who you are.  I just wish you could understand that.  I truly do.  I wish somehow, someway I could make my love for you visual so you could see it as I do.

Yes, I try hard for you, and it doesn't bother me, you're worth it.  But the thing is, I know I'm worth it to, so now I need you to work to get me back.  And my confession, this is probably harder on me to stand my ground, then it is for you to bring me back.  Because truth is, I want us back more than you'll ever know.  When you truly love someone, you just know deep inside you.  I know I love you completely, and that will never change.  But I can't be the only one loving between us, for it to work I need you to love me to.  And then, mark my words, we will be unstoppable in our dreams.

Holding back from you, is harder than you could ever imagine on me....  but I have to prove to you have great I truly am and how much I truly love you, and why I'll never be able to my love for you go.  I'm a person who doesn't fall in love easily, but I confess when I do I fall hard.  Reality is, in my 34 years on this world, you and you are the single person I've truly loved.

In A Heart

Time tells all truths, time uncovers everything.  I love you, I love you so much I'm willing to help build you up, I'm willing to share your dreams, and I'm willing to do whatever it takes to hep you achieve your dreams, or in my eyes our dreams.  I'm willing to completely commit myself to you.  That isn't weakness, loving someone like that takes great strength and faith.  Loving someone so pure, takes integrity and loyalty.  Willingness to love someone this way takes great self confidence.

If I die, I simply go home to God, I fully have faith in that, so move forward in my confident and loyal, because live or die, God has me.

I will always forgive you, I will always love you, and I would still take you if the time comes.  I love you, one day you'll understand how true those words are when they come from me, one you'll understand I truly love you.  One day you'll realize what your throwing away in me, but what you don't realize is my heart is pure and forgiving.  I've been to dark places, I had my times of reflection, and God shut me down and made me think of life in a different light, when God opens your eyes and mind it tends to change how you see life.  You didn't know who I was before I met, so you couldn't grasp how I changed and grew.  You might not understand why think things as I do, but its simple God opened my eyes long ago.  This world is bigger than any of us, God is bigger than any of us, and yes we must find our place and way in His will, but in the end this world will keep turning with or without us.  All we can do is make the most of the life we have, make thos world and people around us better and happier   Thats why I love, thats why I give, thats why I think of others first, thats why I'm selfless.

I am me, I am real, I may not always be right, but I do try.  Even great men have moments of weakness, have doubts.  But great men build legacies not on their own merits or egos, but they build legacies through how great they are through building those around them.  I chose you because I love you, why would settle for anyone else.

I still to this day believe God brought us together for a great reason, and I will always believe that.  What I wouldn't give to somehow let you feel what I feel, know what I know.  So be angry, be upset, be hurt, but know I still love you.  I'm still standing, I'm still moving up, and my arms are always open to you.  You keep trying to break me, or catch me slipping, but one day your realize I'm exactly who I say I am, and that I really do love you.  And when you do realize this, I hope it isn't too late, because I'm here for you.  I may be great, but if the price for your love is myself, so be it, I'll gladly pay it.
